I was able to purchase a few more pairs offered to me of these gorgeous, bookmatched pieces: NATURAL AMETHYST STALACTITE SLICES! While this pair does not feature the obvious purple shades most commonly associated with Amethyst, it makes up for it with its lovely striations and organic patterns!

NATURAL AMETHYST STALACTITE SLICES: These bookmatched pieces are slices of a stalactite on which Amethysts grew- a magical work of art created by Mother Nature, generally thought to be about 130 million years old. Stalactites are beautiful, icicle-like crystal formations that hang from the ceilings of caves and other structures. These amazing slices were carefully hand cut to preserve their 100% natural shapes, leaving their raw, irregular bottoms untouched while squaring-up the sides, faces and tops. Each piece features sparkling Amethysts in multiple layers of horizontal mineral striations, showing off their beautiful colors!... Each pair is one-of-a-kind and is absolutely beautiful!

Bookmatched slices are: 1/2 tall x 3/8" wide x 3/16 thick.
The Tiny Brass bails are about 3/8" tall so these will hang, on average, 1 1/4" from the Sterling Silver earwires to the bottoms of the Amethyst stalactites.
